Amost two decades after iTunes launched and changed the world of music forever, it really looks like Apple is finally preparing to close down the platform forever!
Bloomberg reported that during next week’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference in California, Apple will announce its plans to replace iTunes with standalone music, television and podcast apps.
We don’t think this is a shock… Afterall, it has been rumoured for years!
The new Music app is expected to offer some of the same features that iTunes currently has, such as purchasing songs and syncing phones, but just with a much more polished interface.
